Two section external rear view mirror - has two thirds flat reflective surface with inner one third inclined towards vehicle to give coverage of blind spot

The external rear view mirror has a casing (1) with flexible edges (6) enclosing a mirror (2). The outer two thirds of the mirror is flat (2). The inner third has a separate segment of mirror (4) which is inclined towards the vehicle to give coverage of the blind spot very close to the side of the vehicle. A wedge (8) is fixed to the main flat section (2) and the secondary mirror (4) fixed onto the wedge. The result is a combined mirror which gives usual rear view vision including the usual blind spot close to the vehicle.
