Large aircraft engine trolley - has bolted main frame with front and rear bearer separable for fixing to engine in place on wing

The trolley, for transferring large aircraft engines from a transport pylon on one aircraft to a working mounting on another, has a main frame with two longitudinal and two transverse spars, bolted together. The spars are rectangular section and pref. hollow, removable rollers being fitted at the corners. Engine bearer securing arrangements are provided at the front and back. The front bearers telescope, in tubular supports, the rear bearers being of fixed length. The bearers can thus be individually secured to an engine and then lowered onto trolley. Alternatively brackets at each end with eyes may be used to permit raising of the trolley to the engine.
