Prodn. of a compsn. for improving red pigmentation in fruits and vegetables comprises powdering and mixing: (a) 'Solubor C' (RTM); (b) CoSO4; (c) Fe chelate; (d) ZnOAc; (e) MnSO4; (f) ZnSO4; (g) MgSO4; (h) CuOAc; (i) NiSO4 and (j) a complex buffer. Amts. used are, for example, 0.200 kg (a); 0.050 kg (b); 0.300 kg (c); 0.100 kg (d); 0.400 kg (e); 0.600 kg (f); 0.700 kg (g); 0.100 kg (h); 0.050 kg (i) and 0.050 kg (j). Process gives a wettable powder which can be used at the rate of 2.5 kg/ha.
