Tetra:hydro pyranyl tetra:hydro pyrimidine di:one(s) - useful as selective herbicides for beet and graminaceous crops

Tetrahydropyranyl tetrahydropyrimidine diones of formula (I) are new. In the formula (a) R1 is propyl, R2 is Cl and R3 is H; (b) R1 is isopropyl, R2 is Cl and R3 is H, (c) R1 is ethyl, R2 is Cl and R3 is H, (d) R1 is methyl, R2 is Cl and R3 is ethoxy carbonyl or (e) R1 is methyl, R2 is ethyl and R3 is ethoxycarbonyl. (I) as selective herbicides useful in the treatment of graminaceous crops and crops of beet.
