Wide band frequency discriminator - operates with transfer function equal to attenuation curve of coupler amplitudes being expressed logarithmically

The apparatus is used for wide band measurement of frequency modulated signals. It has a circuit of dissipation adaption acting on the amplitude verses frequency characteristic of the transfer function between measurement terminals of the apparatus. The transfer function of the dissipation adoption circuits (10) is given by a curve of which amplitude variations in dependence upon frequency variations are the same as those of the attenuation curve of the prime route of a coupler diminished from those of the attenuation curve of the measurement path. The amplitudes of these curves being expressed logarithmically.
