The multicolour printing machine has printing stations in line and a feed mechanism at one end of the machine, for the roll material. The opposite end has a storage roll to receive the finished material. Both feed and receiving rollers are arranged so that the web may be routed in different ways to bypass some of the stations as required. The printed rolls may be joined back to back on the same roll and transferred to a second roll to store the combined sheets.
