The device scales fish, removes bones, cuts fish and picks up individual pieces of fish. The device is manufactured in one piece. The two branches (2, 3) are not identical. Branch (2) is wider than branch (3) to constitute a spatula as well as a cutting edge, thus enabling it to scoop up the cut pieces of fish. Apart from their cutting edges the two branches are almost of the same shape and are assembled in a super-posed way one above the other. The long sides (5, 6a and 6b) have towards their ends open gripping points (7), each one of them being slightly concave, the concave part being directed towards the inside. Even when closed, i.e. when points (7) are touching one another, a space (11) is left between the branches, for holding the piece of fish.
