The equipment is for injecting preservative into wood. It has a paint spray (1) and a joint piece (10) with an axial hole (11) joining the outlet (3) of the spray and a spout (14) and a metering device (18) inserted in the assembly. The spray is electric and the joint piece is a tube, the end (12) of which is fixed on the spray and threaded internally at one end and externally at the other end for a spout (14). The regulator is an adaptor (18), bead shaped and pressed flexibly against a radial shoulder (17) machined in the joint piece (10). The spray has a hold valve (8) working with a spring (9).
