The automatic grading machine is particularly for fruit or other items sensitive to shocks, having a continuous grading surface consisting of a series of plates each with a set of grading holes, and a set of conveyor belts working at right angles to the travel direction of the grinding surface. These transport the graded items to packing stations and are separated from each other by reception zones each leading to a belt.
