Mechanical press fully automatic control system - has multi-sequenced operation adaptable to various shapes and sizes of workpieces

The press automatic control system has an optical coder connected to a cyclic connection panel. The panel has a multiposition display representing the movement of a shaft. Each position can be connected and used as a control signal transmitting controlls to auxiliary functions and/or a detector. On the panel are defined two points which delimit between them a dangerous zone between which are carried out a number of controls. The system uses several normal input cards, fleeting data detectors connected to an automatic operation circuit by a gate and at least a repetitive input card for tool control. The two types of cards pass to a cascade connected input unit connected with a counter and auxiliary function input.
