The chassis tube (14) or similar rigid element, is pivoted at its front end on a vertical axis to the tractor hitch. It has a vertical shaft (9) at its rear end on which a wheel can steer or castor. The beam which carries the plough bodies encompasses the tube over most of its length. The beam can execute a quarter turn around the tube, means acting between tube and beam holding the beam in its work positions. The beam is of square section and elements of tapering section connect the plough bodies to the beam. One or two jacks are provided for rotation of the beam. The vertical axis of the tube at its front end can be moved transversely with respect to the hitch.
