Combined shooting and pinball machine - has balls dislodged from rack by fired pellets to run down surface with electric contacts to determine score

The machine combines a shooting gallery with a pinball scoring machine. It comprises a rack (3) containing a row of balls (4), these being aimed at by the player using a gun. When a pellet strikes a ball, it is dislodged onto a sloping grille (8) and runs down onto the surface (9) of the pinball machine. This machine has electric pins (13) distributed over its surface. When the ball contacts these pins a score is displayed (14) at the front of the machine. The balls are then returned to the rear for replay. Pellets strike a plate (2) at the rear and are collected for removal.
