The spirit level may be in the form of an attachment 20, Fig. 2, having a pair of resilient elements 24 for clipping the attachment for example to the cylindrical spigot portion 26 adjacent the chuck 16. The attachment shown has two spirit levels 28, 30, the body portion 22 may be pivotable relative to the clip portion, Fig. 3 (not shown).
