Glasses suitable for laser application, glass lasers, and method for making same

摘要

Disclosed are phosphate glasses containing BaO, K.sub.2 O, Al. sub.2 O. sub.3 and Nd.sub.2 O.sub.3 and containing only very low amounts of water and a method of making such glasses.
