PURPOSE:To extend the life-time of a collision wall, and to recover a part of the heat of hot gas, by dividing the inside of a collision plate placed to baffle the flow of the hot gas, into a plurality of fluid paths along the flow direction of the hot gas. CONSTITUTION:In the separation of coarse particle dust in a hot gas by a collision wall 9 placed in a coarse particle separator 8, fluid pipings are connected with the openings 17A and 18A of fluid paths 17 and 18, and a low temperature fluid (F1) is introduced into the paths 17, 18 through the upstream opening 17A. The low temperature fluid is passed through the upstream path 17, a gap 20, and a downstream opening 18A, to exchange the heat with hot gas. At the same time, the fluid passing through the paths 17, 18 cools the baffle plate 14 to prevent the damage from the hot gas. A part of heat recovered from the hot gas with the collision wall 9, can be used for the heating of hot gas composition-controlling air exhausted from the cooling bunker 1.
