CONTAINER LOADING AND UNLOADING APPARATUS FOR USE WITH CONTAINER HANDLING VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To prevent collapsing or loosening of cargo in container, by providing a container lifting means at the rear portion of the container. CONSTITUTION:Coupling means 24 is provided at a portion of vehicle body 3, and coupling metal 11 to be coupled with the means 24 is provided at the front end portion of container 5 in vertically slidable manner. On the other hand, means 6 including movable member 10 and guide member 7 for sliding the movable member 10 is provided at the rear portion of container 5 for lifting the rear portion of the same. Further, rope 13 having one end connected to the guide member 7 and the other end connected to metal 11 is wound around the upper end of movable member 10. In mounting or dismounting the container 5 onto or from container handling vehicle, inclination angle of container can be reduced by supporting the rear end of container by meand of movable member 10. Thus, container 5 can be kept substantially horizontal, so that collapsing or loosening of cargo in the container 5 can be positively prevented.
