OIL TANK EQUIPPED WITH JET MIXING NOZZLES

PURPOSE:To prevent sedimentation of sludge by circulating stored crude oil in such a way that ring-shaped pipings are connected together by a separate piping, the ring-shaped piping with larger ring diameter is connected to a tank side plate with a piping equipped with a pump in the midway part. CONSTITUTION:When valves 11, 12 are closed, a valve 13 is opened, and a pump 9 is driven, crude oil comes through a piping 8 into the pump 9, which is pressured passing through a piping 10 until it is sent into a ring-shaped piping 3. Part of this crude oil is delivered through nozzles 4 into a tank 1 flowing along the rake at a bottom part 2 into the central side, residual crude oil is delivered through a communication pipe 6 via nozzles 7 of a ring-shaped piping 5 along the bottom part of the tank 1. Flow of this crude oil runs into collision in the vicinity of the central part of the tank 1, which is made into a rising flow in which the crude oil delivered through the nozzles 4 is involved as well. This facilitates to efficiently mix the crude oil, and to prevent it from sedimentation down to the bottom of the sludge.
