BIAS MAGNETIC CIRCUIT FOR MAGNETIC BUBBLE MEMORY

PURPOSE:To improve the in-use efficiency of a chip by providing two chip mounting regions inside one magnetic bubble module and by giving a difference in force between bias magnetic fields applied into both regions. CONSTITUTION:Center magnetic-adjustment plate 5' is divided in its thickness direction into magnetic adjustment plates 5'A and 5'B, between which permanent magnet 8 is inserted. Then intervals between magnetic adjustment plates 5 and 5'A, 5'A and 5'B, and 5'B and 5'' are set adequately. By directing the magnetization of permanent magnet 8 perpendicularly to the surfaces of magnetic adjustment plates, the bias magnetic field applied to the bubble chip mounted between magnetic adjustment plates 5 and 5'A can be made different in force with that to the bubble chip between plates 5'' and 5'B. Consequently, several magnetic bubble chips different in bias magnetic-field extent can be used by being distributed in respective regions, so that the in-use efficiency of chips will improve.
