DRAIN CONTROL MECHANISM FOR DOUBLE TANK TYPE WASHERRDRYER

PURPOSE:To provide a mechanism which can stabilize the squeezing effect and reduce the burden on the dehydration motor through relatively smooth drainage of water squeezed in the dehydration tank along with a smooth start up of dehydration. CONSTITUTION:The bottom of a washing tank 1 is provided with a drain port 2 which is closed by a valve 19 charged by a spring 18. One end of a connecting body 21 is connected to the valve 19 while a drain valve selector 16 is connected to the other end of the connecting body. In addition, the selector 16 is provided with an opening/closing contact 47 connected in series to the power source of a dehydration time switch 15 and delay mechanisms 34, 35, and 45 adapted to turn off the contact 47 in a given time after the selection of the valve to ensure dehydration as desired.
