PURPOSE:The title composition having improved impact strength, releasability, fluidity, and injection modability, and a high heat distortion temperature, with little breaking of glass fibers, comprising polyethylene terephthalate, glass fibers covered with a vinyl polymer, a release agent, and talc. CONSTITUTION:A composition comprising (A) a glass fiber-containing polymer in an amount of 5-30 wt.% calculated as glass fibers, (B) 0.05-0.2 wt. % of a release agent, (C) 0.5-4.5 wt.% of talc incorporated into polyethylene terephthalate, and (D) polyethylene terephthalate. The polymer (A) is obtained by suspension polymerization of vinyl monomers in the system containing bundled chopped strands of glass fiber, 20mu or less in diameter and 2-10 mm in length, to give a glass fiber content of 20-90 wt.%, preferably 50-90 wt.%.
