DEVICE FOR BRIDGING AIRPORT BUS TO AIRPLANE

PURPOSE:To enable passengers to safely and quickly go from an airport bus to an airplane directly, by providing a bridging floor at the tip of an expansible floor so that the angle of the bridging floor can be adjusted by 95 deg. vertically and by 20 deg. horizontally. CONSTITUTION:The bridging floor 7 is attached to the tip of the expansible floor 5 by hinges 10 and fitting rods 9 fixed by welding etc. to a rotary plate 8 and is provided with upper and lower handrails 11, 12, which can be folded in connection with the swinging up and down of the briding floor 7. The bridging floor 7 is fitted with an auxiliary floor 13, which is moved in connection with the operation of drawbars 14. The rotary plate 8 is slidably attached to a slide floor 15 by metal members. The position of the rotary plate 8 is adjusted by its right or left rotation within the length of the slide floor 15. The bridging floor 7 is swung by a cylinder 16 up by 90 deg. from the horizontal plane and down by 5 deg. therefrom.
