Animal carcasses in an abbatoir are transported on manually operated suspension tracks to a weighing station where the load is suspended from a weighing balance in stable manner to permit printing of weight. Animal carcasses are suspended from a weighing platform. This platform is connected to a support which is applied to one side of the suspended load such that a line connecting the centre of gravity and the suspension point form an angle with the vertical. The support is adjustable in height and laterally by means of bolts and holes to obtain stabilisation.
