The equipment glues and sticks a strip of wallpaper in place, and has a tank for the glue, above which at one end is a support for the roll of paper. A drum in the tank applies glue to paper, and a scrapper regulates the quantity, while glue rollers are also included. The end of the tank furthest from the roll support has a hinging component to part the paper off after this has been placed in position. This component can have a flat face to rest on the skirting board, and from which an upright portion at right angles extends upwards, bearing against the wall. Above this portion is a sloping one together with a narrow plate parallel to the flat face. A hinging arm is connected by a hinging component to the tank.
