Luggage carrier for bicycles - has basin container held in pivoted and sliding forks in combination with helicoidal springs

A luggage carrier for bicycles which has a long support, in the form of a basin, to hold the luggage. There are also two fixing forks fitted to the basin so that they can pivot and slide when raised or lowered in position. Springs are used in the assembly, coming into action when the forks are lifted up. In the forks are guide grooves, with guide rods to allow sliding, but dropping is prevented by the springs. The springs are of the helicoidal type and are housed in recesses on the edge of the basin. The basin tapers upwards and outwards.
