The coil former is made from a thermo-plastic material, and is fitted with soldering pins. The fixing of the soldering pins are resistant to mechanical and thermal stresses. The former has a flange at each end and the pins are mebedded in a base made from thermally hardened material, which is fixed into the material of the flange. The coil former is moulded around the core made from a ferromagnetic material. The base (9) is made with cutouts and projections to anchor and align the thermoplastic material. The coreis H-shaped.
