The support for a bassoon or similar large musical instrument, which assists the musician when in a seated position. There is a holder attached to the bassoon with an adjustable suspension bar attached to it. The bar can rotate freely in one direction on a plate placed on the right leg of the player. Looked at from the playing position, of the bassoon, (5), the suspension bar (2) runs down at an angle from the holder (1) along the underside of the bassoon.
