An improved disposable lancet, characterized by having the general shape of a flattened parallelepiped, and its slightly convex longer sides and shorter sides planes, (a) comprising a body (10) having at its upper portion a circular opening (18) passes through the thickness of said body, a central rectangular projection (14, 14a) on each side, said projections extending in the direction of the body height from the bottom right side to its upper side and surrounding the poriférico edge of the opening (18), and is projected upward from the edge of the head body (10) to terminate in a sharp tip (22) bevelled in three planes; (B) a lid (12) on each side has a projection (16): form a head do lance extending in the direction. the height from the bottom edge and terminates in the vicinity of the upper straight side and a christmas (24) for receiving therein the pointed tip (22) of the probe (20); and (o) a breakable ring (26) surrounding the probe (20) and connects the cover (12) to the body (10) so as to enclose the probe (20) and the cavity (24) in the cover (12) completely, must break this ring by a rotational movement of the body (10) and top (12) of the probe shaft (20) immediately before the lancet used, wherein the projection (14, 149) environment and opening (18) surfaces and edges that resist sliding of the lancet in the hands of a user
