Abstract of the disclosureA rotary roller pump for carrying out sequential pump-ing of fluid in separate squeezable tubings comprises astator and a rotor which is provided at opposite ends withrollers, for respective engagement with the tubings, andis so mounted that a gap is provided between an inwardlyfacing seating of the stator which part-surrounds the rotor,and the rollers for accommodating the tubings which areto be arranged substantially parallel to each other andso as to extend in the general circumferential direction.Each roller comprises two cylindrical and co-axial partshaving different diameters such that, with the tubingsso accommodated and arranged, the cylindrical part havingthe larger diameter engages one of the tubing placed betweenthat cylindrical part and the inwardly facing seating insuch manner as to exert a pumping action on that tubingwhen the rotor rotates, whereas the cylindrical part havingthe smaller diameter does not exert a pumping action onthe remaining tubing.- 1 -
