AbstractThe specification describes a method and an apparatusfor diaphragm walls (that is to say walls cast in a ben-tonite-suspension filled trench) connected with rock under-lying comparatively soft soil. The trench, supported bythe bentonite suspension, has vertical tubes placed in itthrough which holes are bored into the underlying rock orharder soil. Then reinforcing or support elements areplaced in the holes in the rock and cement or anothersuitable material is injected through the holes into therock.
