ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSUREThe present invention is a machine capable of openingplastic bags of garbage, whatever the size of the bag, and thenautomatically separating the contents thereof from the plasticsheeting itself. It consists of a conveyor belt system with aplurality of hooks implanted therein. The belt is rotated on atleast two pulleys, one of which creates a gentle turn by beingrather large in diameter and the other pulley being rather smallin diameter so that the hooks are accelerated thereabout as thebelt passes over it. The waste in plastic bags is placed on theconveyor belt and the plastic sheeting gets attached to the hooks.The waste is split from the split bags when the belt passes overthe first pulley. The hooked bags resin attached to the beltuntil the force of the rapid acceleration about the smaller pulleydislodges them.
