The present invention relates to polysiloxanes modified with polycarbodiimide, in which polysiloxane and polycarbodiimide are present as distinguishable phases - with a chemical and / or physical bond. The polysiloxanes modified with polycarbodiimide are prepared by mixing the organopolysiloxane with di- or polyisocyanates in the presence of a catalyst which accelerates the formation of carbodiimide. The polymer mixture consists of 3 to 80% by weight, based on the total mixture, of polycarbodiimide.
