Stable suspensions of inorganic fillers in organic polyols and their application to the preparation of cellular and non-cellular polyurethanes

Storage-stable suspension of 1) 0.5 to 80% by weight (based on the total suspension) of an inorganic filler in 2) 20 to 99.5% by weight (based on the total suspension) of polyhydroxyl compounds with aliphatic or cycloaliphatic hydroxyl groups, which, as a stabilizer for the polyol component (2), contains 0.05 to 10% by weight, based on (1) + (2), of a graft polymer. The graft polymer is obtained by free-radical polymerization of a) 1 to 35% by weight, based on the graft polymer, of an olefinically unsaturated carboxylic acid and b) 0 to 60% by weight, based on the graft polymer; of other unsaturated monomers in the presence of a polyhydroxyl compound, the carboxyl groups of the graft polymer being completely or partially neutralized by organic or inorganic bases. This suspension can be used to build up foamed or non-foamed polyurethanes.
