The physiotherapy apparatus, which permits the body of a patient to be subjected to an electromagnetic field constituted by an envelope of various frequencies within a very wide range within the field of microwaves and the performance of a therapy of absorption and of drainage of the absorbed energy, comprises a generator (G) which emits the electromagnetic field in the form of successive wave trains with damped propagation via an antenna formed by a group of circular and concentric insulated dipoles of differing length. These dipoles are excited by a high tension and frequency transformer powered by a tuned pulse oscillator. The apparatus further comprises a drainage device (19) comprising an electrode connected to an earth plate and intended to be placed in contact with the body of the patient. IMAGE
