Selective level detector esp. radio test receiver - designed for interchangeability of modules for flexibility in use and servicing

A selective level detector, esp. a radio test receiver, is designed to enable the use of already available component modules with prospective future modules, eg receivers, frequency counters. The device is further designed so that one or more modules may be interchanged to meet different selection, evaluation, transient response, measurement range, or display requirements, and to facilitate servicing. An AM/FM radio receiver is provided with active tuning circuits for voltage level and/or selection characteristics. A measurement amplifier unit is connected to the output of one tuning circuit and/or a frequency counter is connected to the other tuner output. The receiver does not constitute a test instrument in itself.
