Bounce suppression for electronic switching circuits - using mechanically-operating keys and monostable and logic characteristic monitoring circuit

A circuit for triggering electrical operating signals for an associated logic circuit is used for signals generated by operation of two or more keys and with monitoring circuits detecting admissability characteristics and controlling further use of the signals. It is partic. applicable to electronic switching mechanisms using keys subject to switch bounce and eliminates unwanted signal propagation caused by the rapid reaction of the electronic circuitry to switching transients. - The admissability function is performed by a self-latching circuit contg. an AND gate and an OR gate with feedback, two monostables having suitable time constants for bounce duration suppression, and further logic gates for monostable state detection.
