Ceiling mounted movable support for medical instruments - has parallelogram linkage with power drive for horizontal platform

Instruments are clamped in a given positon after adjustment. The support has connections for power and gas supply lines. The instrument platform at the end of support is automatically held in horizontal position. Power drive is provided for height adjustment of the platform together with the supported instruments. - The supporting tube (6) is held vertically on the room ceiling. This tube accommodates coaxial rotating inner tube (9). - Lower end of inner tube (9) carries a parallelogram linkage (11, 12, 13, 14) whose free end carried an instrument platform 15. A motor (19) driven leadscrew drive moves another inner tube (5) vertically up and down for parallellogram linkage for actuation.
