Three cylinder high pressure reciprocating pump - has driving cylinders interconnected by valves to regulate pump cylinder timing

The pump has three cylinders for delivering concrete under high pressure with interconnected cylinder heads. Each cylinder is connected to a driving cylinder which contains a piston connected directly to the pump piston. The driving pistons are acted on by hydraulic oil. The pistons have rocker flanges which operate cam arms on the main frame to open and close valves controlling the flow of hydraulic oil to the driving cylinders. The driving cylinder heads have control valves interconnected between the cylinders. The valves are arranged so that the oil flows to and from the cylinders to ensure that when one cylinder is delivering the next one is on the precompression stroke and the third is on the suction stroke.
