A record player for use in children's toys is designed to enable ease of automatic selection when using multi-track discs. Each track (p to u) has a lead in section from the periphery of the disc. - The turntable has a stop on the periphery that engages with one of a number of actuated control plungers (4p to 4u). Each position ensures that the playback needle (3) locates in a spiral track. The system ensures a simple and guaranteed means of locating the needle in a selected track.
