Safety interlock for crawling gear of utility vehicle - has automatic clutch on hydraulic motor and low gear set only with main gear selector in neutral

The utility vehicle is propelled by a conventional gear box and has a crawling gear incorporating hub drives etc. The hub drives are coupled to the wheel by a clutch operated by a hydraulic servo linked to the supply line for the crawling gear so that the hydraulic motors are decoupled from the wheels during normal travel. The hydraulic drive has two further interlocks; one switch on the main gear lever so that the hydraulic drive can only be engaged with the main drive in neutral. A second interlock on the speedometer ensures that the drive is only engaged at low speeds.
