The radiation detector is in the radiation field, which generates pulses. It is followed by two circuits, one of which contains a dose measuring device, a threshold circuit and a signalling device, and the other a meter for radiation dose power, and a display. A third circuit is provided behind the detector, which measures the rate of delivered pulses, and has a self-holding threshold flip-flop, whose tripping point is set to the rate of pulse delivery corresponding to the maximum permissible dose power for the first circuit. The signalling device is connected to the output of an OR circuit, whose one input is connected to the threshold circuit output in the first circuit, and the other to the output of the threshold flip-flop in the third circuit.
