Induction coils serving as release elements for the protective circuit are incorporated in the hinge of the movable protective part. Ferromagnetic trip cams act on the coils. The coils are incorporated in the sleeve of the hinge by means of electrically insulating and water-insensitive plastic material in which the coils are cast. The trip cams are arranged on the swivel pin of the other hinge part. This swivel pin can at first be rotated and adjusted so as to locate the trip cam in the desired position after which it is locked in the adjusted position.
