Feeder and mixer for dry solids and liquids - having circular solids feeder coupled to vertical screw and mixer

A mixer for producing sprayable mixt. from dry solids and a liquid consists of a feeder vessel into which the solids are placed. This has a rotating stirrer with tangentially mounted blades which have a lattice type construction. This has the effect of cleaning the vessel walls and feeding material forward. On the side is a mixer with a separate drive. Above this is a screw which takes solid from the said vessel and feeds them into the mixer into which water is also injected. The inlet to the screw from the vessel can be closed by a slide which is actuated by rotating the mixer on a lever. A pumping device is located below the mixer. The mixer is esp. useful for preparing material for plastering buildings. The fact that the mixing chamber can be sealed from the solids feed chamber is advantageous and makes the device more portable and moveable.
