The housing has a front inlet opening, the bottom end of which has a crosswise-extending counter-blade. The back of the housing is formed by a removable cover-plate and vertical side-walls. The chopping-cylinder has transverse cutter-shaft. Two flat hexagonal plates are positioned on the shaft with attachments around their circumference, enabling six chopper blades to be screwed on. The base plate of the housing is mounted so that a movable plate is joined to the inside near the bottom of each side wall. A baffle plate is rigidly fixed to the inside. A rod runs parallel to the chopping cylinder axis and is mounted into the ends of the baffle plate and screwed to the movable plates.
