Sharpening method for saw-tooth beet blades - has jig for blade pairs swinging towards roughing and finishing cutters

The blades are extracted one by one from a magazine and transported to a jig. They are indexed a tooth at a time, first past a roughing milling cutter forming the long chamfers and then past a finishing cutter for the short ones. The jig accommodates two blades at a time, alongside each other. As these are moved forward the front one is swung against the finishing cutter on a fixed mounting, and the rear one against the roughing cutter simultaneously. A loading plate can deliver the first blade from the magazine this being aligned by centering cams passing through slots in the plate, after which it is moved sideways and then returned to the magazine to accept the second blade.
