The pipe sealing split clamp has two halves whose rubber seal directly contacts the pipe outside surface. This lining is held in a circular groove of the clamp. This sealing clamp which is used for sealing pipe fractures canb e rotated and slid on the pipe so that the rubber seals on either side of the fracture can be sensitively clamped. The circular groove has clamping jaws (15) which exert radial pressure on the rubber seal (27). The clamping jaw sections are in contact with screws (29) used for applying pressure. The ends of the jaw overlap at their ends and the section ends are connected with compression springs (16).
