The food processing device which is particularly used for the final cooking of pre-blanced potato chips consists of a C shaped housing (1) which has a circulating air flow and heater (3) and basically comprises a lower part (A), a rear stand (B) connected there to and an upper part (C) connected to the stand. The grid base (9) is firmly connected to a drawer-like insert (8) which supports the food and at the same time closes in the cooking chamber on the three open sides of the housing is designed to s lide in and out of the free space between the lower part (A) and the upper part (C) of the housing. The heater (3) is contained in the air shaft (4) which is provided in the rear stand (H) of the housing so that the air circulated by a fan passes the heater and then circulates round the food on the grid base. This appararatus can be used for domestic and industrial kitchens since both large and small quantities of food can be prepared.
