Automatic exposure control for cameras - has calculator producing aperture setting when shutter speed is preselected and vice versa

An automatic exposure control device for a photographic camera is constructed such that the device has a calculator device to produce the exposure value which is governed by various different illumination control parameters. The calculator produces an effective diaphragm aperture when an exposure time is selected as one of the exposure control parameters, and produces an appropriate exposure time when a specific aperture setting is preselected. The device is in the form of an auxiliary unit which can be mounted onto or removed from the camera body.
