The sprocket (3) has a slight displacement in the direction opposite to the rotation of its shaft (5), and fitted with a pin (1) carrying a rigidly connected catch with a slot (14) which can move within the arc-shaped slot (10). Between the pins (1, 2) a spiral spring (8) is fitted. When the spring (8) becomes operative due to angular relative displacement between the sprocket and shaft, a catch (6) travels towards frame mounted stop (12), where it comes to rest. The stop (12) can be fitted with a switch cutting out the motr when the catch reaches the stop.
