Yarn bobbin dyeing appts having a vertical cylinder in which are located bobbin supporting shafts is provided with an upper support plate carrying attached sleeves which are spaced at distances corresp. to the spacing of the shafts carried by a base plate and placed simultaneously over the shafts and vice versa. Bobbin supports and covers are quickly erectable and dismantleable.
