The reinforced concrete beams lie on parallel edges of the trench at their end support heads. They are spaced from each other in the free-supporting region to form gaps. In their support heads (1a) the reinforced concrete beams have cut-outs (1b) which run normally to the grating face and emerge into slots (1c) into the side wallsof the support heads (1a). Spacers (2) connect every two adjacent beams (1) and their heads (2a, 2d) are connected via cross-pieces (2b, 2c) which correspond to the shape of the slots (1c).
